Plan Your Visit
First ballet or fiftieth, here is everything you need for a great night at the theater.
Getting There
Mainstage performances are at Gas South Theater, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA 30097.
From I-85 northbound, take Exit 108 and turn right onto Sugarloaf Parkway. From I-85 southbound, take Exit 109 and follow the signs for Sugarloaf Parkway. Cross Satellite Boulevard and the District is on your left.
Parking
Theater guests park in Lot C and Deck 1. Parking for our performances is $10. Valet is available for an additional charge, which can vary by performance. Event parking rates go into effect about two hours before the performance.
Two things worth knowing before you arrive. On event days the lots accept credit and debit cards only, so bring a card rather than cash. You can also prepay for parking through Ticketmaster or the Gas South District website under the specific performance, which guarantees a space and gets you through the entrance faster.
Accessible parking is available in every deck and surface lot. Electric vehicle charging is free, in Lot A1 and on several levels of both decks. Rideshare pickup and dropoff is in Lot A5, outside the Arena.
When to Arrive
The lobby and box office open one hour before the performance, and the house opens 30 minutes before. We suggest arriving at least 30 minutes early.
Our curtain rises on time. It is a point of pride for this company, and it is a courtesy to the dancers, the musicians, and the guests who arrived early to settle in. If you are running late, you will be welcomed in the lobby and seated at the first suitable pause in the performance rather than mid-scene. Please plan for parking and traffic so that you do not miss the opening.
What to Wear
There is no dress code. Some guests dress up and others come in jeans. For Dracula, many arrive in gothic or Victorian attire. Wear what makes the evening feel special to you.
Bringing Children
Every guest over the age of two needs a ticket. A limited number of booster seats are available at the theater. Each production page lists age guidance for that show.
