Company Auditions
GBT currently has open contracts for three male dancers. To inquire, email auditions@gwinnettballet.org.
Auditions for the 2027-28 season will be announced here, typically in January. To be notified when dates are set, email auditions@gwinnettballet.org.
Under Artistic Director Lori Zamzow-Wire, GBT looks for technically strong, artistically passionate, classically trained dancers with performance experience from professional schools or companies.
Positions
- Professional contracts: ages 18 and above
- Apprentice contracts: ages 18 and above. Apprentices are paid per performance and receive a pointe shoe allowance.
- Trainee positions: ages 16 and over. Trainees train daily in the GBT Conservatory and rehearse and perform with the company. Full tuition is covered by the GBT Trainee Scholarship Fund, and trainees receive a pointe shoe allowance.
How to Register
Send your resume, a headshot, and two dance photos (one in arabesque) to auditions@gwinnettballet.org. In-person auditions are strongly encouraged. If you cannot attend in person, ask about submitting a video.
Repertoire
GBT’s repertoire includes Beauty and the Beast, Carmen, Cinderella, Paquita, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Firebird, Dracula, and The Nutcracker, alongside modern and contemporary works.
Conservatory Dancers
Dancers in the GBT Conservatory may be selected to perform with the professional company, based on audition and class work. To ask about joining the Conservatory, use the inquiry form.
Visiting Professionals
In town or on a break? Working professionals can take Open Classes with GBT for $20.
