The Evening
The 2026 Director’s Gala came home to Sugarloaf Performing Arts Center, where the studios our dancers use every day were transformed for one night into the scene of a 1940s mystery.
Guests became part of the story from the moment they arrived. Somewhere among the dancers, artists, and characters was a crime waiting to be solved: clues surfacing in conversations, in performances, and in moments no one saw coming. Some guests chased every lead. Others simply enjoyed the cocktails, the dinner, and the dancing while the mystery unfolded around them.
The studio setting put the audience closer to the artists than any theater can. It was less like watching an event than stepping inside one.

What It Supports
The Director’s Gala is one of Gwinnett Ballet Theatre’s signature fundraising events. Ticket sales, sponsorships, and the silent auction go directly toward our professional dancers, artistic programming, productions, and educational and outreach initiatives across the region.
