SEASON & TICKETS

Schools & Groups

Bring your class, troop, studio, or team to the ballet.

Coming with a crowd costs less. GBT offers reduced pricing for groups at public performances, and a separate daytime program built for school field trips.

Group Tickets

Groups of 20 or more qualify for reduced pricing at our public performances. The exact rate depends on the performance you choose, how many seats you need, and whether your group is a nonprofit, educational, or community-service organization, so we quote each group individually.

Group pricing works for all kinds of groups, including:

  • Schools and homeschool groups attending an evening or weekend performance
  • Senior and assisted living communities
  • Churches and civic organizations
  • Youth groups, scout troops, and dance studios
  • Corporate groups and social clubs
  • Nonprofits, and groups of families or friends coming together

Tell us which production you have in mind and roughly how many people you expect, and we will come back with pricing and seating options. Popular performances fill early, so the sooner you ask, the more we can do for you.

School Performances

Each December, GBT presents daytime performances of The Nutcracker built for school groups. Students see the full production at Gas South Theater in Duluth, with professional dancers, sets, costumes, and live orchestra.

  • $9 per student
  • One free teacher or chaperone ticket for every 20 students
  • Additional chaperone tickets are usually available to purchase
  • Open to public, private, and charter schools, homeschool groups, and other educational organizations

For teachers

Our AKS guide explains how to connect the Nutcracker field trip to the classroom and the Gwinnett County AKS curriculum.
