Biography

Averi Nozzarella recently graduated with a BFA from UNC School of the Arts where she majored in classical ballet. She primarily trained under Jennet Zerbe, Laura Martin, Jared Redick, and Angelina Sansone.

During her time there she has performed works ranging from Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Firebird, UNCSA’s The Nutcracker, George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, and most recently an original contemporary ballet by Ja’ Malik. This wide range of repertoire has helped her grow as both a technician and artist and she is eager to continue to improve and explore all aspects of her dancing at Gwinnett Ballet Theatre this season.
