Gwinnett Ballet Theatre

Overview

Gwinnett Ballet Theatre offers the best possible ballet education to dancers of all ages and abilities. Younger students are introduced to the joys of classical dance, giving them a sense of grace, poise and confidence.

More advanced dancers who wish to prepare for a professional dance career will receive the intense training and performing experience necessary to achieve their goals.

All students are offered the chance to audition for GBT’s production of The Nutcracker, performed annually at the Gwinnett Civic & Cultural Center.

Students may also participate in an annual recital and, depending on cast needs, in GBT’s yearly Spring Concert.

The Official School of Gwinnett Ballet Theatre is the only nonprofit ballet school in Gwinnett County. As such, we benefit from broad-based financial support from Gwinnett and metro Atlanta businesses, foundations and individuals.

Classes are offered from the Creative Movement through Pre-Professional levels. All classes are taught by classically trained instructors.

Students are taught according to the safest teaching principles and receive the most comprehensive program of classical ballet available. And, of course, we emphasize the pure enjoyment of dance above all else!
